It is not often that you find a knowledgeable, experienced person who is willing and able to answer questions and provide help to a non-technical person. I was lucky enough to find that person.
This is what happened
Late Friday afternoon, preparing to write a new post to include on my blog, I clicked on the part of my website where I would normally input the content. Suddenly I discovered, to my horror, a completely new layout. An unexpected new layout. After I recovered from the shock and began to breathe again, I realized that I needed help. Not just any help, but a knowledgeable (live) person who would be willing and able to provide technical help late on Friday afternoon – before the weekend. This was hoping for a lot, but I plowed ahead anyway, searching online.
Fortunately, I remembered someone I previously met online who impressed me with her knowledge, experience and patience. The patience to answer questions from a non-technical person like me. And she did – patiently answered my questions.
Fingers Crossed
So, on Friday afternoon, clicking on her website, I found a form where I could write an email to this knowledgeable, patient person Marcia Coffey. After quickly explaining the difficulty, I clicked “send” and sat back, not knowing when a reply email would be coming back to me.
Not more than an hour later I clicked on the problem page. The problem had been solved! Thank you Marcia!
